Front Mission 5 Review

Prologue

Front Mission 5 stories begin with Walter and 2 of his best friends while they are still child. This 3 promised to gathered on city park on some day, while they are met at park for some reason many wanzer and any other milllitary unit appear on the city and began to attacking each other in those city. Commotion happened all around the town, and not so long after that a wanzer approaching this 3 child while still battling with other unit. Then some incident happened to Walter and of his friend. Walter stories later begin some years after those incident happened...

Gameplay

On my personal opinion I think this is the most not easy version of Front Mission, considered there are limitation attack accuracy of arms, limited point for upgrading wanzer, etc. This where front mission 5 became really strategy game! We must considered many factor before attacking or countering enemies. Because I think there are no ultimate wanzer in this version though, but there something really-really new. Like bazooka or gattling gun weapon, character free recruitment system, arena mode (when you collect bounty that later for upgrading wanzer), survival mode (where we can find a new wanzer part), etc. But the most aspect I like is it's story, it's just reminds me about front mission 3 games. Where we travel from one place to another and progressing mission with some cool scene, like parachuting from plane or using boat to infiltrate enemy base. But the language this game I played actually a japan language so I'm not clear enough to understand about this version stories.

Front Mission 4 Review

Prologue

Front Mission 4 game progress focused on 2 main characters, they are Darril and Elsa. Darril is a soldier that has duty for scouting on some area of South America, in other place Elsa is a wanzer pilot of Durandal (a wanzer research and test team from European Community (E.C.)). The stories begin with Elsa especially when unknowed forces attacking an E.C. German base not so long after Elsa joined Durandal. Although German government has already investigated this incident but Elsa knew if there was something didn't right about this incident. So Elsa with Durandal team decided to investigated this incident to find out the plot behind this attack.

Gameplay

There are something new on this front mission battle system, so now we can't only depend on upgrade and battle skill while playing this game. There are new attack link and defend link system, where we can attack enemies together with our ally in one battle scene (just like Back Up Fire skill on Front Mission 3). This new thing make this game became not easy to play (but I think this is still easy than Front Mission 5), because not only on our side that can do linking attack but also the enemies too. So we can't be a Rambo with going alone with one wanzer and destroying all enemies (except on tutorial off course) in this 4th series. Also there are new type of backpack for this series, there are jamming, radio, and repair backpack. Jamming backpack used to jamming enemies wanzer systems, like making enemies unable to move or system down. Repair backpack specialized for repairing any wanzer part, and the most special one is radio backpack that can be used to call air support attack!

Brigandine

I play Brigandine at last moment before optical lens on my Playstation totally lose it's ability (looks like I have a little luck still can play it until end). Brigandine stories about of domination of kingdom who controlled the land called Forsena, in this games you choose 1 ruler from a few choseable kingdom / country (Later there are a new choose able kingdom after you finish the games). Battle system in Brigandine using phase systems just like another strategy games, where you can control move of any monster or character of yours in each phase then conducting battle phase.

Some feature of Brigandine in example like : monster leveling up and evolving (master level in lv.30), skill & evolving customization, etc

Front Mission 3 Review

Until now, story on Front Mission III is the most I like than any other games. Because I think It's very logic, dramatic and many conflict on it. Front Mission 3 stories it's self divided into 2 version, Emma version and Alyssa version. The stories is about a secret conducted activity of research and development of non radioactive nuclear weapon weapon called MIDAS. Main charracter of this game is Kazuki Takemura who works on Khirisima Industries as a wanzer pilot tester. Later as the games progressed he knows the dangerous destructive power of MIDAS, and try stop it by tracking down location of original MIDAS by searching it around many countries.

Eternal Eyes Review

I think Eternal Eyes is just like common strategy games. There is nearly nothing special about this one, except evolving monster feature that very rare on this current era of this games released. In these features player can evolved his monster in any variety monster depending on jewel that we put on it.

Disgaea 2 Cursed Memories Review

One thing that I can say, Disgaea 2 is a different variety of strategy games. Many part of Disgaea 2 games is consist of uncommonful element. Altough stories in this game is very unlogic, but still can bring joy to the one playing it. Maybe it's because of supported by very unlogic featured too, for example that we can go dive into Item world for levelling up and collecting element those item and make it's much strongger. Not only that! we still can adjusting our opponent level also we can make another charracter to fight alongside us in battle. A unique one I guess...

Chocobo Dungeon 2 Review

Genre : Adventure

Chocobo Dungeon 2 is one of an unique adventured games, this game stories is about Chocobo who adventured with a Mog in dungeon to collect treasure but after that they are separated because of some incident. In this games each time you go to dungeon there never be the same map as before, easily says it's randomize map.

This games has many common features like item customize and upgrading, quest, item keeper and also feather that allowed player to received skill by destroyed equipment or quest. Feather can also be used to summon guardian like on the Final Fantasy games, but don't forget it will cost Chocobo's energy of course.
