Arc The Lad 3 Review

I'm not sure this game genre strategy, also I'm not sure enough this game can't be called RPG. Whatever... Okay back to the topic, Arc The Lad III stories is about a young lad named Alec. In these stories, in past Alec was being rescued by a Hunter (a group of people that fulfill a requested job and earn money) and because of that moment he deserved that someday he want to be a Hunter too. Alec adventure begin when his village is attacked by a group of bandit, because of these condition he must go to the near city and applying a request on the Hunter Guild ASAP. Can Alec make it to save your his village?

Arc The Lad III has some unique features, but I forgot it. Just kidding, there are 2 features that this games has than common RPG games. They are : cardish (turn enemy into card, and then you can summon it later) and Item/Weapon Synthetic (Item Creation). Also there are something that I can't forgot, the guild job. There is some a little funny stories there.

Ace Combat 3 Electrosphere Review

On my experienced playing game, there are some different between US version and Japan version. In US version the game focused only on mission, and no detailed story behind the mission. It is very different with japanese version where player not only must finishing the mission, but also there are some different story each time you make a decision. For example you can transfer to another team or just keep staying at your current team. Altough I had finished played this game at Japanese version, but still I can't clearly enough to know is is stories. But in my opinion it is about a secret weapon (plane) that has very outstanding capabilities, offcourse it will be a long fight for the last boss if you must to fight it.

There are no special feature in these Ace Combat 3, it's just like another flight shooting games. But at least Ace Combat 3 is easy to control and not to much shortcut, just lock-on and fire your missiles to your enemies.

Alundra 2 Review

This game I played not so long after I get my Playstation console, main character in this game was a boy named Flint. I am a little forgot about story in this game, but it's looks like all about "magical key"(I totally forgot what it's called) that can make any living things becoming madness while put on it. Maybe for people in these days this game just common game, but back then this is one of a great game (on my opinion). In these games player will not only needs to hit a monster also progressing story, we also need to solving puzzle.

Maybe there are no special features considered this games was old generation playstation games, but still this game has basic feature for good adventuring game. Also there are basic element that Alundra 2 very goods, it is a character control. It's very easy and simple to move, jump, slashing sword, casting spell and using item. This is maybe the great point of old generation adventuring games, not complicated and easy to control.

Tomba 2 Review

Prologue

Tomba 2 story is about Tomba who is in adventure of searching his friend that kidnapped by evil pig. In this game Tomba must travelling from one place to another for gaining information, helping villager, and searching supported item. Altough this game is categorized as platform games, but still it's difficulty must be considered. On my opinion this is really-really adventured games.

Gameplay

Tomba 2 can be considered as difficult games, this is not because of this game control. But it's difficult because it's has a ton of quest! But this make Tomba 2 a really challenging platform games than the other. Also many unique adventure that player should finished just like capturing firefly, collecting costume, even searching new tools for progressing the games.

Front Mission 3 Review

Until now, story on Front Mission III is the most I like than any other games. Because I think It's very logic, dramatic and many conflict on it. Front Mission 3 stories it's self divided into 2 version, Emma version and Alyssa version. The stories is about a secret conducted activity of research and development of non radioactive nuclear weapon weapon called MIDAS. Main charracter of this game is Kazuki Takemura who works on Khirisima Industries as a wanzer pilot tester. Later as the games progressed he knows the dangerous destructive power of MIDAS, and try stop it by tracking down location of original MIDAS by searching it around many countries.

Eternal Eyes Review

I think Eternal Eyes is just like common strategy games. There is nearly nothing special about this one, except evolving monster feature that very rare on this current era of this games released. In these features player can evolved his monster in any variety monster depending on jewel that we put on it.

Disgaea 2 Cursed Memories Review

One thing that I can say, Disgaea 2 is a different variety of strategy games. Many part of Disgaea 2 games is consist of uncommonful element. Altough stories in this game is very unlogic, but still can bring joy to the one playing it. Maybe it's because of supported by very unlogic featured too, for example that we can go dive into Item world for levelling up and collecting element those item and make it's much strongger. Not only that! we still can adjusting our opponent level also we can make another charracter to fight alongside us in battle. A unique one I guess...

Chocobo Dungeon 2 Review

Genre : Adventure

Chocobo Dungeon 2 is one of an unique adventured games, this game stories is about Chocobo who adventured with a Mog in dungeon to collect treasure but after that they are separated because of some incident. In this games each time you go to dungeon there never be the same map as before, easily says it's randomize map.

This games has many common features like item customize and upgrading, quest, item keeper and also feather that allowed player to received skill by destroyed equipment or quest. Feather can also be used to summon guardian like on the Final Fantasy games, but don't forget it will cost Chocobo's energy of course.

Breath of Fire 4 Hint, Bug and Review

Review

Breath of Fire 4 stories is about a young-dragon named Ryu. Ryu was founded by Nina in the dessert near abondened merchant cargo while Nina on the way to a desert village. Later together they are travelling around the world and meet with another companion.
Breath of Fire 4 has a unique feature like faeries village development and master feature. Master feature allowed any character to study under a master and they will received bonus status effect for which master they are studied. Faeries village development allowed player to develop faeries village to get supported item/skill/etc in that used later in battle.

Hint

About BoF4 Breath Attack : Breath attack damage usually very depend on HP , so this is very helpful when you fight again Last Boss or any Breath attack monster. For example when you fight again Last Boss their Breath attack damage gradually will drop each time you made a damaged on them. When the damage of Breath attack totally meaningless it can be used for indicator that their HP already in low condition and you should finished them off!
About Faeries Charge : Faeries skill (Faeries Attack, Faeries Breath & Faeries Charge) are very depending on number of faery and level of barrack, I don't know how opinion of another gamer about this skill. But that I know Faeries Charge is the best skill for finishing off final boss. Okay lets get to the Point, Faeries skill AP consumption are very large (on my opinion) than any other skill. But there are some item/skill( I totally forgot) that cut AP consumption, or in another way equip faeries skill to any charracter with high CP (high CP = high AP restoration). Okay, one problem solved! next is how to efficient the damage of Faeries Charge. Just like I mention in text above, for final battle you should use all faeries and make sure all of your barrack reach max level (lv.20) . For addition note: if you has set into like this, don't ever come back to faeries village. I don't want accept any complain if there are any faeries on your was village died!. Okay next is how to do this in the actual battle, "Just use it on last combo! with the same type of attack." so it can be triple damage (1 base damage plus 2 bonus combo damage) for each faery. I can't count how many total damage but I think it's really effective.

Bug

I don't know this is bug or not, but this work well in BoF4 on playstation. With this you can earn high exp in each monster (max. 256000 exp, I think). You only need equip skill burn and frost (but I think Scias already has frost) to charracter with low magic power. 1st Step Find a monster in the Ruin where all the dragon meet with Ryu (After Deis came out from the Ershin and reside in girls body), the monster shape just like armor equiped with dual gun (I forgot it's name). 2nd Step cast burn or combo this burn with sever if there are more than 1 of those monster (but I think this monster will died if your magic power are high enough) , after being hit by fire elemental magic this monster will change shape! This is where it'll starting works. Take a look on monster detailed , experienced gained from this monster will increase twice each times it's tranformed into other shape. Then to change their shape into original state just hit them with water elemental magic. 3rd Step If their HP low, use Nina Healing technique on them! you should do this cycle until reach it's maximum experienced you can gained (around 256000) then kill it! This should very helping so much on levelling up a character or all party charracter. If you want to concentrate on 1 charracter just use monopolize skill! Monopolized can be gained from Marlock.

Gunbound Review

Gunbound was the 2nd online game that I played after Nexia ~Kingdom of The Wind~, This games arrived at Indonesia at least 5 years ago. Gunbound categorized as a shooting game, but not like common shooting game that use direct control to shoot. This game use delay system (turn/phase) also use degree and power-bar to aim the shot. Gunbound has variety mode of battle like solo, score, tag and jewel. For example in tag mode, in battle we can switch mobile that we control to another mobile that we choose before by pressing F7 button. Altough this game can be considered as old game but it's still fun when we play it in a team with our friends.

Ar Tonelico Melody of Elemia Review

Ar Tonelico is first RPG that I have played on Playstation 2, Ar Tonelico it's self is a name of tower. This tower surrounded by ground / components that flying at the air. In Ar Tonelico's world people live in those surrounded area from low to upper position. This story is about a boy from upper area that crash down in lower area, that no matter what he must to going back to upper area ASAP. Later, In his journey later he went and meets many friend then team up with them in battle. Altough it's graphic just simple 2D but has many costumization feature (dive systems,magic, item creation,etc) also there multiple endings in this games. Character in this game also drawed like japanese manga/anime styles and also don't forget sound quality that supported this games. Altough I have finished played this game sometimes I still play the bonus songs that unlocked from finishing the game.

Yu-Gi~Oh! Trading Card Games Review

At least I have an idea what I want to write to this blogs, then let's begin.

Yu-Gi~Oh! trading card games is one of many variety of trading card games, but I think this is the most complicated trading card that I have ever played. This games can be played consists of 1vs1 or 2vs2 players. I'm not so sure but looks alike this games based on it's manga and anime that authored by Kazuki Takahasi. But in the actual Yu-Gi~Oh! card trading games the rule more specific and complex. Each players of this games at least must have 40 cards for begin playing. There are 3 main variety card in this games : Monster Card , Spell Card and Trap Card, each of them still divided again into another group. For example Monster Card still divided into normal and effect monster, there also fussion or ritual monster , etc. Quite complicated, eh? But it's just beginning there are still more complicated like chain links, multi trigger effect, etc. But complicated it's self is part of joyness in this trading card game, because in this games 1 complicated card maybe can change your winning condition to losing condition or vice-versa.
